A turkey in an Orange Thyme Brine

Orange Thyme Brine

Ingredients

  • 2 quart of Poultry stock chicken or turkey
  • 16 oz of Orange juice
  • 4 oz. Lemon Juice
  • 2 – oz. of Fresh Thyme
  • 1- pint Cider Vinegar
  • 1- pint water
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup salt if using a fresh Turkey omit if Turkey is frozen or containing brine solution

Instructions

  • Heat Water to a boil, dissolve sugar and salt combine with all other ingredients. Chill to below 40 before brining Poultry
