Beef BBQ Brisket Burrito

Smoked Beef Brisket with BBQ sauce wrapped with cheddar cheese and rice into a burrito

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef brisket previously smoked or cooked, slice
  • 4 oz bbq sauce
  • 2 cups rice see southwest rice recipe
  • 6 oz cheddar cheese shredded
  • 4 each tortilla 10 inch, flour

Instructions

  • place 4 oz of rice in a narrow strip of a 10 inch tortilla

  • place 4 oz of Brisket sliced thin that has been coated with bbq sauce in a bowl onto the bed of rice
  • place 1.5 oz of shredded cheddar onto each meat portion
  • fold ends of tortilla over the items, fold end closest to you over the top away from you, keep ends tucked in, roll burrito all the way to complete closure

  • place on oiled medium high heat skillet for 2 - 3 minutes to brown exterior, if items were hot going in then once all sides are browned you can serve the item
