Equipment

  • 1 sauce pot

Ingredients

  • 1 lb cheddar cheese Extra sharp, grated
  • 1/2 lb cream cheese or american cheese
  • 1 lb macaroni
  • 1 quart heavy cream
  • 1.5 tsp chicken base gluten free, bouillon
  • 1/2 lb lobster meat cleaned cooked
  • 1 each garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tsp mustard dried
  • 1.5 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  • cook 1 lb macaroni in 4 quarts of boiling water, 10 - 12 minutes. follow instructions on package

  • in saucepot, add cream, dry mustard, and chicken base, heat on medium-high to simmer
  • cut cream cheese into chunks and stir into hot cream, stir until creamy
  • strain pasta when cooked, leave in strainer until sauce is ready
  • stir in shredded extra sharp cheddar, stir until smooth
  • add pepper, and milk, stir
  • Combine macaroni with sauce in large pot, stir to thoroughly mix

  • Fold in chopped lobster meat, chop to desired size

For a baked option, melt 1/4 cup of butter and toss with 1 cup of panko crumbs.  Place macaroni in 9X9 casserole dish, top with buttered crumbs and bake for 30 - 45 minutes at 375 until golden crispy
