- 8 lbs. yukon gold potatoes peeled
- 1 cup 1/2 and 1/2
- 1/4 lb. butter
- ⅛ tsp Salt to taste
- ⅛ tsp pepper
In a large stockpot bring water covered over peeled cubed potatoes to a boil
Cook until tender, pierce with a fork, if slight to no resistance it is cooked.
Remove from stove, drain the potatoes into a colander. return potatoes to the pot, add cream, butter, salt, and pepper, heat slightly.
Mash, taste, adjust seasonings, serve
